The story takes place in the year 1926 on the French Riviera. Polly Browne, an English heiress who is attending Mme Dubonnet’s finishing school meets Tony who is posing as a delivery boy, even though he is of noble lineage. They fall in love but have a misunderstanding. Eventually they are happily reunited when both show up at the Carnival Ball.
Performed in May/June 2000 at Benalla Town Hall.
